Hfinance, a provider of digital asset infrastructure for financial institutions, has been granted an EU Markets in Crypto-Assets Regulation (MiCA) license by Latvijas Banka (the Bank of Latvia).

This authorisation establishes Hfinance as a regulated Crypto-Asset Service Provider (CASP) and fully aligns the firm with the EU’s comprehensive crypto-asset framework.

Additionally, the MiCA license enables the firm to provide its services across all 27 EU Member States and the wider European Economic Area.

The firm says the license is a milestone in its journey and allows them to deliver trust, transparency, and security in their offering.

A Hfinance spokesperson notes: “MiCA sets one of the highest regulatory standards for crypto-assets anywhere in the world, and meeting it reflects the dedication our team has put into building a platform our customers can rely on."
