CoinShares, an asset manager specialising in digital assets, has integrated with Safe Labs and Railnet.

The collaboration makes CoinShares-designed stablecoin yield strategies available to users of Safe Wallet, Safe Labs’ self-custody smart account for enterprises and onchain organisations.

The yield strategies are built for corporate treasuries, onchain organisations, foundations, and family offices, among others.

Under the structure, CoinShares never takes custodial or discretionary control of a client’s assets.

CoinShares acts as the regulated, publicly listed curator, Railnet supplies the vault infrastructure, and Safe Labs operates as the smart account layer.

The firms say that their collaboration comes in response to the growing institutional demand for professionally designed onchain treasury solutions.

Speaking on the partnership, Jean-Marie Mognetti, co-founder, president, and CEO of CoinShares, says: “Institutions shouldn't have to choose between maintaining control of their assets and accessing professionally designed yield strategies.

“This collaboration removes that trade-off and marks the first major step in bringing institutional asset management natively onchain.”

Rahul Rumalla, CEO of Safe Labs, comments: “By combining CoinShares' asset management expertise, Railnet's infrastructure, and Safe's account layer, we are helping make institutional-grade onchain finance more accessible without asking users to give up custody.”

Laszlo Szabo, CEO and co-founder of Railnet, adds: “We see strong demand for properly risk-managed strategies, and for accessing real-world yield, but existing onchain infrastructure wasn't built for sophisticated asset managers.

“We're building the vault infrastructure that brings the transparency and settlement real asset management needs.”
