N3XT, a fully reserved Wyoming-chartered US bank, has joined Clear Markets’ Collateralizer network as a custodian for US dollar deposits.
The firms report that through Collateralizer, bank clients can pledge USD cash held at N3XT under agreed custody and collateral control arrangements, N3XT then provides cash custody and account-control agreements, while Clear Markets provides collateral management technology without taking custody of client funds.
USD pledges held at N3XT can be managed as collateral for 24/7 transactions including forwards, options, and swaps traded on Clear Markets Swap Execution Facility (CMSEF), funding for third-party exchanges, and security for borrowing, the firms further explain.
CMSEF is a US Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC) regulated swap execution facility for 24/7 institutional digital asset and crypto derivatives trading.
Collateralizer is Clear Markets’ separate collateral-management service, which the firm says connects independent bank custodians for margin and collateral workflows.
