Institutional digital asset liquidity provider B2C2 has appointed Elizabeth Rossiello as its chief operating officer, as the firm looks to expand its services to support cross-border payments and stablecoin adoption.

Rossiello joins B2C2 from AZA Finance, a Kenya-based fintech, formerly known as BitPesa, which she founded in 2013.

For four years, she served as a founding member of the World Economic Forum’s Centre for the Fourth Industrial Revolution Network (C4IR) advisory board, guiding policy frameworks and technology governance.

B2C2 says the appointment reflects rising demand for stablecoins, which the firm says is “reshaping cross-border payments” and creating a need for digital asset liquidity and traditional FX capabilities.

Speaking on the new arrival, Thomas Restout, group CEO of B2C2, says: “The next big shift in digital assets isn't happening on trading screens, but in payments, where stablecoins are becoming a faster way to move money between markets that traditional banking has struggled to serve.

“Elizabeth hasn't just advised on that kind of business; she has run and scaled one across regulated markets in Europe and Africa.”

Rossiello adds: “Over the last decade, the digital asset industry has expanded beyond trading to powering payments and treasury settlement.

“At B2C2, I see a significant opportunity to connect payments, trading and investing through reliable, institutional-grade liquidity.”
