Hex Trust has partnered with BCB Group to provide on and off-ramping for its institutional clients, spanning US dollars, euros, UAE dirhams, and additional major currencies.
As part of the collaboration, Hex Trust will connect to BCB’s instant, round-the-clock settlement network, BLINC.
Through BCB, Hex Trust clients utilising its Dubai or St. Vincent and the Grenadines-regulated entities will gain fiat settlement capacity.
Payment service providers (PSPs), remittance providers, platforms accepting digital assets, and other clients of the firms will be able to keep their custody and conversion with Hex Trust and settle onward through BCB.
Commenting on the partnership, Nader Najm, managing director, Dubai, at Hex Trust, says: “Our clients want crypto in and fiat out, without the operational mess in between.
“They can trade with our desk as they do today, or plug into Convert-to-Pay and automate the whole thing.
“BCB brings the fiat rails and banking depth we wanted behind both.”
Andrew Bywater, head of strategic partnerships at BCB Group, adds: “Institutions that hold digital assets with Hex Trust need to move fiat just as quickly and reliably.
“Through this partnership, they can open regulated accounts with BCB Group, access FX, and settle around the clock, all alongside their existing custody arrangements.”
Hex Trust and BCB Group plan to continue to collaborate to broaden institutional client access to their services on a jurisdictional basis, starting with the UAE.
