The Association of National Numbering Agencies (ANNA) has expanded the ANNA Service Bureau (ASB) to include Digital Token Identifiers (DTIs), as part of its work supporting International Organisation for Standardisation (ISO) standards across capital markets.
The ASB is a centralised hub that collects, consolidates, and distributes standardised financial instrument data from over 120 National Numbering Agencies across more than 200 jurisdictions.
ASB users will have access to financial reference codes, XT ISINs for cryptoassets, and DTIs for digital assets, where assigned.
The Digital Token Identifier Foundation (DTIF), a member of ANNA, serves as the designated Numbering Agency for XT ISINs and the Registration Authority for the DTI.
According to ANNA, the integration of XT ISINs and DTIs will enhance the availability of data and improve transparency for digital assets.
Regarding the expansion, Stephan Dreyer, managing director of ANNA, says: “By bringing both XT ISINs and DTIs into the existing reference data suite, we have made it easier than ever for the market to access and leverage unified datasets to run their reporting and workflows with absolute confidence.
“To make tracking these assets simple, we have introduced a specific digital asset flag within the system that instantly denotes whether an instrument is digital or tokenised.”
Sassan Danesh, CEO of DTIF’s parent company, Etrading Software, adds: “As regulatory frameworks increasingly recognise the need for globally consistent digital asset identification, the DTI is becoming an important reference point for transparency, reporting and interoperability.”
