Doppler Finance, an XRPL-native yield infrastructure, has partnered with Hex Trust in a bid to expand institutional-grade use cases for Wrapped XRP (wXRP), the tokenised version of XRP.

The initiative also seeks to support the development of XRP-based financial infrastructure across multiple blockchain platforms, according to the firms.

Additionally, the collaboration is prioritising advancing the design of XRP-linked products capable of operating beyond its native ledger and enabling wXRP-based structures, focusing on “custody integrity, transparency, and risk-managed deployment,” utilising Hex Trust’s institutional custody and infrastructure.

The partnership is said to be indicative of Doppler Finance’s broader objective: expanding XRP liquidity across chains, in a way that is both scalable and interoperable.

Commenting on the collaboration, Rox Park, head of institutions at Doppler Finance, says: “wXRP plays an important role in extending XRP liquidity across ecosystems, and working with Hex Trust enables us to build these products on an institutional-grade custody foundation.”

Giorgia Pellizzari, chief product officer and head of custody at Hex Trust, adds: “By partnering with Doppler, we are providing the regulated gateway necessary for institutions to engage with wXRP.”
