Broadridge Financial Solutions has launched its digital asset platform for Canadian wealth managers to aid the acceleration of their crypto and tokenised assets offerings.
The platform will include capabilities such as integrated disclosure, governance for regulatory compliance, wallets, and institutional-grade custody.
Cryptocurrencies and tokenised real-world assets (RWAs) will be supported on the platform, across both advisor-driven and self-directed models.
The single operating model — encompassing trading, custody, asset servicing, and proxy voting — is designed to unify TradFi and digital assets.
Broadridge says it will continue adding partners to its platform, which already includes the likes of Galaxy and Anchorage/Tetra, allowing for interoperability with additional custodians.
Commenting on the platform, Tim Gokey, CEO of Broadridge, says: “By simplifying complexity behind the scenes, we are creating a streamlined front-end experience for our clients that will accelerate digital adoption in Canada.”
Bill Packham, president and CEO of Aviso, adds: “We’re pleased to see Broadridge continuing to adapt to the evolving marketplace with innovative platform solutions enabling financial institutions and advisors to expand the range of investment opportunities available to their clients.”
