Marex launches institutional QIS offering

Marex, a global financial services platform, has launched its Quantitative Investment Strategies (QIS) offering through its proprietary institutional solution.
Institutional and own-account investors seeking systematic access to digital assets, commodities, equities, and their related risk premia will be able to access QIS capabilities.
QIS are rules-based and designed to provide transparent, systematic exposure to certain market themes, asset classes, or risk premia without having investors trade the underlying instruments directly.
According to Marex, its financial products team has spent the last two years developing use cases for QIS, including indices used as underlyings for structured products and customised indices to aid institutional clients in implementing their own investment strategies.
Commenting on the launch, Walter Cegarra, head of institutional solutions, financial products at Marex, says: “In our drive to add value through innovation, we are happy to announce the launch of the first institutional QIS indices on digital assets in the market.
“This provides traditional investors with access to digital assets through the familiar QIS format, while giving crypto-native allocators access to the solutions offered by the QIS structure.”
