Charles Preston has left his position as director of business development at institutional digital
asset infrastructure firm Copper.

He spent just under six years at the company, also serving as account manager, senior account manager, and relationship manager for EMEA.

Preston helped the business transition through its startup phase, Series B and C funding, obtaining Qualified Custodian status in the US, and increasing the processing volume of ClearLoop — Copper’s digital asset off-exchange settlement and collateral management network.

Prior to his time at Copper, he was an insurance broker at London Belgravia Brokers.

Speaking on his departure, Preston says that he has worked with some “fantastic clients” and that it has “been a genuine privilege to work alongside such a talented team through some huge milestones” for Copper.
