Silvestri to head EMEA prime sales at Kraken

Kraken, a cryptocurrency exchange, has appointed Donato Silvestri as its head of EMEA prime sales, following more than a year as the firm's institutional sales manager.
Prior to joining Kraken, Silvestri spent just under four years as an executive director, sales and relationship manager for alternatives at BNP Paribas.
Earlier in his career, he served as vice president at J.P. Morgan in two roles over the course of almost five years: EMEA platform sales, prime and alternatives, and vice president, business manager, investor services.
Silvestri also spent three years with UniCredit as a sales business management associate.
He holds an undergraduate degree in computer engineering from Sapienza University of Rome and a master's in European business from ESCP Europe Business School.
