Komainu, an institutional gateway for digital assets, has partnered with Gate to expand access to off-exchange settlement (OES) through Komainu Connect.
This collaboration enables institutional clients to access Gate’s liquidity and product offering by using Komainu Connect, while maintaining custody protections and operational control.
Clients can trade, borrow, and lend through Komainu Connect, while keeping assets in custody, reducing operational friction and addressing institutional concerns around counterparty exposure.
Darren Jordan, chief commercial officer at Komainu, remarks: “We’re pleased to welcome Gate to the Komainu Connect ecosystem. Institutions need secure and seamless access to liquidity, and this integration delivers exactly that.
“Partnering with Gate further broadens our network of trusted venues and supports our mission to make institutional digital asset trading safer and more efficient.”
Addis Hu, global head of Institutional Business at Gate, adds: ”We're pleased to collaborate with Komainu to broaden institutional access to Gate's liquidity through an off-exchange settlement model. As institutional participation in digital assets grows, market structure is evolving toward clearer separation between custody and execution.
“This collaboration with Komainu underscores our continued commitment to institutional infrastructure expansion and the ongoing evolution of Superlink.”
