Bybit, a cryptocurrency exchange, has partnered with Finloop Finance Technology Holding, a wealth technology platform, to offer the Finloop USD Instant Digital Liquidity Fund (FUIDL).
FUIDL is a tokenised liquidity offering, backed by an AAA-rated money market fund (MMF) that received AAAm from S&P, Aaa-mf from Moody’s, and AAAmmf from Fitch.
As part of the collaboration, Bybit will allow shares of FUIDL as collateral for trading on its platform, in a bid to provide institutional investors with access to US dollar liquidity through blockchain technology.
According to the firms, FUIDL offers T+0 interest accrual, allowing investors to move capital between TradFi and crypto markets at speed.
Finloop will act as the tokenisation facilitator, providing the infrastructure to connect TradFi MMF assets with blockchain-based trade completion, and using it to pilot same-day settlement for select asset classes.
The firms say their partnership intends to apply the operational standards placed on traditional assets, and expected by institutional investors, to the digital assets market, with Bybit seeking to advance its long-term mission of building an open financial platform that bridges traditional and digital finance.
Commenting on the joint initiative, Yoyee Wang, global head of TradFi and real-world assets at Bybit, says: “By enabling same-day settlement and reinforcing custody standards, we’re not just improving transaction speed; we’re redefining what financial interoperability can look like.”
Cai Hua, CEO of Finloop, adds: “This collaboration demonstrates how a wealth technology platform and a digital exchange can work together to achieve instantaneous settlement while meeting high operational and regulatory standards.”
