Seha Islam has joined Broadridge as general manager for its digital asset platform and onchain governance.
His new duties include collaborating with platform leads, business units, and engineering teams to build wallet, onchain data and governance, and digital transfer agent and identity capabilities for institutions.
Islam began his career at EY as a manager in financial services consulting, leaving after just under eight years to join fintech firm LMRKTS as head of business development, before being reappointed by EY as senior manager, financial services consulting.
At EY, he also helped build an institutional digital asset practice.
Islam has worked for Rutgers University as a guest lecturer and Columbia University as a course designer and lecturer.
He holds a bachelor’s degree in information systems engineering from Boğaziçi University and a master’s from Binghamton University School of Management in finance.
Commenting on his new position, Islam says: “There's deep expertise across this organisation that I look forward to learning from as we build the future of digital asset market infrastructure together.
“Existing assets are moving onto new rails, and assets that didn't exist two decades ago now reside on institutional balance sheets.”
