Crypto Finance (Deutschland), a regional provider of institutional digital asset trading and custody solutions, has appointed Laura Hermann as its managing director.
In her new role, she will help drive the company’s growth, expand its presence across the Markets in Crypto-Assets (MiCA)-regulated European market, and strengthen client relationships and the sales organisation.
Hermann joins the German subsidiary from BlackRock, where she spent four years as director of business development for Aladdin, the firm’s risk management and investment portfolio operations software.
Earlier in her career, she served as executive managing director and head of business development at fintech and SaaS provider Verifino for just over two years.
Commenting on the new appointee, Stijn Vander Straeten, CEO of Crypto Finance Group, says: “With Laura Hermann, we are welcoming an exceptional leader with deep expertise in institutional clients, capital markets, and digital assets.
“Her experience will play a pivotal role in executing our growth strategy within the MiCA-regulated environment and further strengthening our position as a trusted partner for banks, financial institutions, and professional investors.”
Hermann adds: “I am excited to work alongside our team and clients to help shape the next phase of growth and further strengthen Crypto Finance’s position as a trusted regulated provider of digital asset solutions in Europe and beyond.”
According to Crypto Finance (Deutschland), Hermann joining the firm marks the completion of the management team, with Moritz Weber and Christian Müller also serving as managing directors of the subsidiary.
