BitGo has appointed Alex Rozman as its chief compliance officer, effective 21 September 2026.
He will be responsible for overseeing the firm’s enterprise-wide compliance and financial crime programmes, engaging with regulators, examiners, and banking authorities globally.
Rozman brings over 25 years of experience in legal and compliance executive positions, building anti-money laundering (AML) and sanctions frameworks across TradFi banking, market utilities, and digital assets.
He joins BitGo from Exodus Movement, a self-custodial crypto software platform, where he served as chief compliance officer for over two years.
Earlier in his career, Rozman spent time as head of global compliance at Polygon Technology, head of financial crime compliance at CLS Bank International, and provided AML advisory services to Deloitte and Guidehouse, formerly Navigant Consulting.
He continues to sit on the board of the Association of International Bank Audit and Compliance Professionals, and previously served as a director on the Certified Financial Planner Board of Standards.
Commenting on the appointment, Mike Belshe, CEO and co-founder of BitGo, says: “Alex is a key addition to BitGo’s leadership team as we aim to scale the business and drive innovation globally.
“His experience will be key to expanding BitGo’s institutional footprint, strengthening our risk management processes, and staying ahead of regulatory developments in every market we serve.”
Rozman adds: “The companies that succeed in this rapidly evolving financial system will be those that treat compliance as core infrastructure, as BitGo has done for many years.
“I look forward to helping BitGo scale that discipline as it expands into new markets and products.”
