Galaxy, a digital assets and AI infrastructure firm, has expanded its institutional vault curation offering, Galaxy Curation, to Solana-based credit platform Kamino.
The extension adds a Galaxy USDC Vault and a Galaxy USDT Vault, bringing the risk framework to a second blockchain.
Galaxy describes both vaults as “moderate-risk” strategies, with USDT intended to preserve capital through selective market exposure and allocation across Kamino’s “most liquid” venues.
The USDC vault is designed to generate higher yield through broader collateral exposure and wider market participation, also accessible through Kamino’s integration with Yield.xyz, a Web3 yield infrastructure platform.
According to Galaxy, the expansion builds on the initial launch of its curation offering in July 2026, with its collateral standards, exposure limits, and OTC trading and lending market monitoring available through Kamino.
Commenting on the initiative, Eduardo Bermudez, director of trading at Galaxy, says: “We built Galaxy Curation around the idea that institutions shouldn't have to change how they operate to access onchain yield.”
Marius Ciubotariu, co-founder of Kamino, adds: “Galaxy is bringing the institutional risk framework used across its US$1.4 billion average loan book to Kamino, giving users direct access to that expertise through USDC and USDT vaults on Solana.”
