CoinCover, a digital asset recovery firm, has integrated with non-custodial onchain asset manager KPK.

The partnership aims to strengthen treasury management operations for the KPK-managed dYdX Treasury sub-decentralised autonomous organisation (subDAO).

CoinCover is providing dYdX with a governed path to restore access without changing wallet operations or the key controller.

The solution aims to solve dYdX’s EVM compatibility issues and centralisation challenges when using a multi-party computation (MPC) wallet.

Commenting on the integration, Daniel Jean, head of treasury management at KPK, says: “Non-custodial treasury management is a distinctive characteristic of KPK's treasury mandates with DAOs and foundations.

“CoinCover lets us abide by our values even outside EVM-compatible chains.”

Anthony Yeung, chief commercial officer at CoinCover, adds: “KPK manage treasuries on chains where the standard multisig tooling simply does not reach.

“We add that layer through the infrastructure teams have already chosen, so recovery is something you switch on rather than something you build.”
