Bitfinex Securities, a platform for raising capital and trading tokenised securities, is listing five new tokenised bitcoin treasury company products.
The tokens are issued through ORO (II), a Luxembourg umbrella securitisation fund managed by SICOS Securities.
The products are designed to offer investors access to securities issued by global bitcoin treasury firms, including Strategy and its variable-rate perpetual preferred stock STRC, Metaplanet, H100, and Capital B.
The offering will trade against US dollars, Tether’s stablecoin USDT, and bitcoin.
According to Bitfinex, the launch marks the first time that tokenised versions of securities issued by bitcoin treasury companies have been made available for secondary trading on a regulated platform.
The firm plans to make a gold yield fund, a set of bitcoin mining tokenised private credit notes, and a tokenised US money market fund (MMF) available for secondary market trading.
El Salvador’s Comision Nacional de Activos Digitales (CNAD) regulates the five listings, which are issued on the Liquid Network, a bitcoin side chain.
Following its new offering, Bitfinex will have 12 tokenised investment products available for trading — including subordinated debt issued by a UK credit union, US Treasury bills, and Bitcoin hashrate contracts — across 27 different pairs.
