Taurus integrates CoinCover’s recovery solution

Taurus has partnered with CoinCover, a digital asset disaster recovery firm, to integrate CoinCover’s Recover for Institutions product.
The initiative will afford Taurus’ clientele with the ability to maintain backups for their on-premise digital asset infrastructure, as Taurus-PROTECT, the firm's wallet technology, will be linked to CoinCover’s recovery solution.
CoinCover provides Amazon Web Services secure storage, along with offline vaults, capable of wallet recovery, controlled access and approvals, and generation of auditable logs of both tests and recoveries, according to the firm.
Regarding the collaboration, Jeremy Verba, CEO at CoinCover, says: “Working together, we’ll be instilling confidence and assurance for institutions so that they can more effectively seize the opportunities presented by digital assets.”
Jean-Philippe Aumasson, chief security officer at Taurus, adds that the joint initiative gives its clients an alternative to “internal processes, with access to established, audited security procedures to store their encrypted backups and initiate recoveries”.
