Digital Prime Technologies (DPT) has further expanded its digital asset financing market’s launch partner community, Tokenet.

DPT will work alongside EquiLend to apply securities lending practices to digital and tokenised assets, aiming to provide TradFi institutions with familiar workflows and establish market infrastructure and best practices.

The inaugural participants have committed to actively engaging on the platform as it scales, bringing over US$1 billion in both institutional digital asset inventory and borrowing demand.

Charter members include Galaxy Digital, Marex, LTP, Flow Traders, Clear Street, EDX Markets, Ripple Prime, QCP, GSR, and StoneX Digital, which have joined DPT through a combination of strategic investments, participation in the advisory board, and long-term collaboration to help shape digital asset lending.

According to DPT, Tokenet gives institutions a unified platform to source liquidity, manage inventory, and execute digital and tokenised asset loans, spanning North America, Europe, and Asia.

Commenting on the expansion, James Runnels, CEO of DPT, says: “The collective liquidity, global reach, and commitment of these launch partners establish Tokenet as the infrastructure designed to power institutional digital asset lending at a global scale.”

Rich Grossi, CEO of EquiLend, adds: “The scale and calibre of these launch partners, representing more than US$1 billion in inventory and demand from day one, creates the infrastructure the market has been waiting for to advance their digital asset lending strategies.”
