Chronicle Proof of Asset, an institutional-grade oracle solution that verifies real-world assets (RWAs), has verified the BlackRock USD Institutional Digital Liquidity Fund (BUIDL).
The company says that, through its independent verification, the BUIDL gains a deeper level of onchain utility, allowing for further distribution and an expansion in what holders can do with their assets.
Chronicle’s dashboard is said to provide real-time visibility into the BUIDL fund holdings data that can be independently verified by asset managers, allocators, platforms, and risk teams.
Commenting on the verification, Robert Mitchnick, BlackRock’s head of digital assets, believes that data oracles “are a critical layer of market infrastructure for tokenised assets” and that the firm is excited by Chronicle’s ability to provide transparency for “platforms and allocators seeking BUIDL fund data onchain, strengthening confidence and transparency around tokenised assets”.
Niklas Kunkel, founder, Chronicle, adds: “Proof of Asset supporting BUIDL demonstrates how the market is evolving toward more granular and transparent data within tokenised products.
“As real-world assets flow onchain, the market needs infrastructure that is transparent, resilient, and built for institutional scale.”
