T-REX Network, a multi-chain real-world asset (RWA) orchestration layer, has partnered with Zama, a cryptography firm specialising in Fully Homomorphic Encryption (FHE), for confidentiality integration into its T-REX Ledger.
The T-REX Ledger is a neutral Layer 2 blockchain for digital securities, and is built to serve tokens issued on the ERC-3643 standard.
The initiative is intended to address the level of confidentiality required by regulated financial markets, with the integration of the FHE protocol said to result in a “scalable, compliant, and privacy-preserving foundation for institutional finance to operate onchain”.
With the layer directly integrated into the T-REX Ledger, the firms hope to establish privacy as key infrastructure for institutional tokenisation, as opposed to leaving it as a standalone feature.
Speaking on the collaboration, Joachim Lebrun, co-founder of T-REX Network, says: “Integrating Zama's FHE Protocol directly into the T-REX Ledger means institutions can finally operate fully onchain without exposing their confidential data to the world.”
Co-founder and CEO of Zama, Dr Rand Hindi, adds: “This collaboration with T-REX Network demonstrates that confidentiality is not an optional feature for institutional blockchain adoption — it is foundational infrastructure.”
