B2C2, an institutional digital asset liquidity provider, has appointed Jason Lai as senior advisor in Singapore.
Lai founded the wealth and asset manager Thirdrock Group prior to its acquisition by Schroders, and served as CEO of its Asian wealth management unit before becoming chairman of the same arm.
B2C2 says its new appointee reflects its plan to deepen its APAC funds, asset managers, and family offices footprint.
Lai follows a number of regional B2C2 hires, including Singapore country lead, Laura Teo.
Commenting on his new position, Lai says: “Asia's wealthiest families and managers are increasingly investing in digital assets.
“I'm looking forward to helping the firm build the trusted bridge between institutional wealth and digital markets in this region.”
David Rogers, CEO of B2C2, APAC, adds: “Jason is one of the most respected names in wealth management in Asia, with an impressive track record building relationships with asset managers and family offices.
