The Wyoming Stable Token Commission, issuer of the Frontier Stable Token (FRNT), has adopted Chainlink Proof of Reserve to raise the standard of its reserve transparency.
As part of the initiative, digital asset accounting and professional services company The Network Firm will examine FRNT’s reserve and token-supply balances under American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) standards.
Chainlink Proof of Reserve will deliver verified reserve data onchain in near real time.
The integration seeks to give regulators, institutions, and market participants more timely visibility into FRNT’s backing and remove blind spots between periods of reporting.
According to the commission, its daily attestations posted to its website mean it already surpasses GENIUS Act stablecoin transparency requirements.
Regarding the initiative, Anthony Apollo, executive director of the Wyoming Stable Token Commission, says: “By adopting Chainlink Proof of Reserve as Wyoming's exclusive onchain asset verification infrastructure, we're providing transparent, verifiable confirmation that FRNT is fully backed by high-quality reserve assets.”
Johann Eid, chief business officer at Chainlink Labs, adds: “We are excited to see the Wyoming Stable Token Commission exceed federal requirements and set a new US standard for onchain reserve transparency by adopting Chainlink Proof of Reserve.”
The commission says it is also in the process of adopting Chainlink Proof of Reserve Secure Mint — programmatically requiring verified reserves to equal or exceed the total token supply before allowing new ones to be minted — as part of its ongoing collaboration with the firm.
