Broadridge has expanded its digital asset platform for wealth management firms to the US market.

The expansion aims to provide wealth managers with a unified way to offer cryptocurrencies and tokenised securities alongside TradFi investments.

The capabilities include support for tokenised real-world assets through its digital asset infrastructure platform DLX; support for advisor-led and self-directed management models; and integration with existing Broadridge or third-party books and records systems.

The initiative builds on the platform’s availability in Canada and allows US broker-dealers to integrate digital assets into existing offerings.

Broadridge says Anchorage Digital and Galaxy Digital are among a “growing ecosystem of providers”, with additional custodians, wallet infrastructure and liquidity providers, and compliance partners for client needs and market connectivity requirements.

Commenting on the expansion, Tom Carey, global head of product and technology at Broadridge, says: “By bringing traditional and digital investments together in a single environment, we are helping clients expand investor choice while maintaining the controls, service model, and experience their businesses require.”

Nathan McCauley, CEO and co-founder of Anchorage Digital, remarks: “As America's first federally chartered digital asset bank, we're proud to bring institutional-grade custody and settlement to Broadridge's platform, so US wealth managers can offer their clients digital assets with the same trust and rigour as everything else in their portfolios.”

Mike Novogratz, founder and CEO of Galaxy, adds: “As a global leader in digital assets, Galaxy is pleased to combine its digital asset market infrastructure and capabilities with Broadridge's established wealth management platform as the company expands its next-generation digital asset capabilities to US wealth management firms.”
