Ctrl Alt, a tokenisation infrastructure provider, has appointed Amanda Staveley, founder and CEO of PCP Capital Partners, to its board of directors as a strategic adviser.
Through PCP, Staveley has been involved in several prominent transactions, including the 2008 recapitalisation of Barclays, the acquisition of Manchester City in the same year, and the 2021 takeover of Newcastle United.
At Newcastle, Staveley served as a director between 2021 and 2024.
According to Ctrl Alt, Staveley’s knowledge of the UK and the Middle East will benefit the firm, as its main operations are centred in these regions.
Commenting on her appointment, Staveley says: “I’ve spent my career closing deals where access to capital was the binding constraint.
“Tokenisation is the first real structural fix to that problem, and Ctrl Alt has done the hard part first — building the regulated infrastructure that institutions and governments actually need before scaling the market around it.”

Ctrl Alt holds several regulatory authorisations, including licences from the UK Financial Conduct Authority, Dubai’s Virtual Assets Regulatory Authority, the Central Bank of Ireland, and the Guernsey Financial Services Commission.
