SRx Health Solutions has announced its agreement to acquire digital asset treasury platform EMJ Crypto Technologies (EMJX), which is designed as a treasury operating system, applying quantitative models, artificial intelligence, and systematic risk controls to multi-asset digital treasury management.

Once the acquisition is completed, Eric M Jackson, founder and CEO of EMJX, is expected to serve as CEO and chairman of the combined company.

EMJX is said to be designed as a Gen2 digital asset treasury platform, structured as a platform governing how capital is allocated, hedged, and reinvested across market cycles, as opposed to the Gen1 approach that primarily holds a single digital asset on a passive basis.

The platform is structured to support multi-asset digital holdings, quantitative and AI-informed decision making, in conjunction with systematic risk management across market regimes.

Jackson believes the next phase in digital assets “is defined by disciplined risk management and multi-asset flexibility rather than single-asset exposure alone”.
