FalxonX, a digital assets prime brokerage, is integrating Banking Circle’s payments and banking infrastructure in a bid to improve its fiat settlement capabilities.
The initiative also aims to augment access to key payment networks, including onshore Australian dollar rails, aiming to support regional client flows through Banking Circle’s local payment infrastructure.
Supported currency pairs available via the FalconX platform are expected to benefit from real-time settlement capabilities through BC-NOW, Banking Circle’s internal settlement network, intended to streamline cross-border fund movement and treasury operations.
The integration is indicative of broader institutional market trends “as digital asset trading and settlement continue to mature”, according to FalconX.
Speaking on the collaboration, Hilal Mehydene, head of FX trading and product at FalconX, comments: “Leveraging Banking Circle’s infrastructure enhances our ability to support institutional treasury management, cross-border settlement, and access to local payment infrastructure in key global markets.”
David D’Amico, co-head of Web3 sales at Banking Circle, adds: “By combining Banking Circle’s global payments network with FalconX’s institutional digital asset platform, we’re helping facilitate the efficient movement of value for clients operating across traditional financial systems and digital asset markets.”
