Maple, an institutional DeFi asset management platform, has launched its Borrower Hub, an operational layer allowing institutions to access onchain capital.

The firm says its product will afford treasury, operations, and finance teams the ability to manage their whole onchain credit function, including multi-entity organisation views and live loan health metrics, alongside in-hub onchain configurations, from a single platform.

The Borrower Hub intends to consolidate the speed and composability of DeFi, with the security, compliance, and access necessitated by institutional capital, through the combination of Maple’s credit infrastructure with an “institutional-grade operating experience”.

Commenting on the launch, Sidney Powell, CEO and co-founder of Maple, believes that the Borrower Hub’s “smart contract credit, paired with an institutional experience” gives treasury teams the “real-time visibility and the controls they need”.
