ClearBank has partnered with AI-powered digital financial infrastructure provider, PhotonPay, with its institutional clients benefitting from access to a wider range of financial services, including virtual accounts, pound sterling collections, payouts, and Confirmation of Payee (CoP) functionality.

Api-based banking infrastructure and real-time clearing services, provided by ClearBank, will allow PhotonPay to issue named virtual accounts, in addition to providing real-time connectivity to Faster Payments, BACS, and CHAPS to its clientele.

Institutions operating within the UK are expected to benefit from faster settlement, more flexible liquidity management, and greater operational control.

Lewison Chen, founder and CEO of PhotonPay, believes the partnership with ClearBank “represents a critical step in expanding our global payment infrastructure”, adding that it lays the groundwork for “continued expansion across Europe”.

John Salter, chief customer officer at ClearBank, adds that the company is “proud to partner with PhotonPay, enabling them to scale with our next-generation banking platform”.
