Digital Wealth Partners (DWP) has selected Two Prime, a provider of bitcoin financial services to institutional investors, to manage approximately US$250 million on behalf of DWP’s clients.
DWP’s Two Prime-powered bitcoin strategy is said to deliver low-volatility, bitcoin-denominated returns through a separately managed account, building on a preexisting relationship wherein Two Prime provides trading strategies to DWP.
Commenting on the partnership, Alexander S. Blume, CEO of Two Prime, says: “We are committed to helping our clients achieve their investment objectives by employing both traditional quantitative and bitcoin-specific investment strategies to generate superior risk-adjusted returns in an increasingly important asset class.”
Max Kahn, CEO of DWP, believes that “Two Prime’s investment process and risk management strategies will provide our clients with a meaningful opportunity to help grow their bitcoin holdings and protect them in volatile markets.”
The broader institutional acceptance of digital assets is cited as the predominant factor in choosing “experienced investment advisors,” according to the firms.
