Ripple has expanded its prime brokerage platform, Ripple Prime, with the introduction of Delta One, enabling clients to execute total return swaps across US-listed equities, indices, and digital assets.

According to Ripple, Delta One marks a significant expansion of Prime’s equities capabilities, working alongside its existing prime brokerage, clearing, and financing services across FX, derivatives, fixed income, and digital assets.

Clients will have a single counterparty relationship and the ability to cross-margin exposures across the supported asset classes round-the-clock.

Ripple Prime will also operate solely in the clearing and financing flow.

Regarding the launch, Noel Kimmel, president of Ripple Prime, says: “Clients can now access equities, FX, derivatives, fixed income, and digital asset prime brokerage, clearing, and financing all through a single counterparty that is built for the future of finance: cross-asset, structurally aligned, 24/7.”

Ripple says the new offering is backed by US$1 billion in regulatory net capital, with Prime closing an upsized US$275 million private placement of senior unsecured notes earlier this month.
