Xapo Bank chooses Fernandes

Xapo Bank, a crypto-native bank, has appointed André Lezan Fernandes to the role of product project manager, bringing over a decade of financial services experience with him to the position.
His duties include executing strategic initiatives, eliminating friction within workflows, and supporting the scale of the firm's banking product.
Fernandes joins Xapo Bank following six years with Kraken, where he most recently served as project manager, discovery, in which he was responsible for aligning engineering, product, and other company-wide stakeholders.
He holds a bachelor’s in business administration and management and a master’s in public planning and governance, both from the Federal University of Technology – Paraná.
Speaking on his appointment, Fernandes says: “I’m looking forward to contributing to the product, working across teams, and being part of what comes next.”
