Evren Devrim Celik has left Xapo Bank, a private crypto-native bank, following eight years with the institution where she most recently served as deputy money laundering compliance officer.

Prior to her time with Xapo, Devrim Celik spent approximately two decades with Citi in several positions, including assistant vice president within the regional financial intelligence unit and as senior compliance officer.

She holds a bachelor’s degree in labour economics and industrial relations from Ankara University.

Commenting on her departure, Devrim Celik says: “As one chapter comes to a close, I'm excited for the next.

“After a short sabbatical to recharge and reflect, I'll be looking forward to new opportunities where I can continue helping organisations build strong, practical, and forward-thinking compliance programmes.”
