ClearToken has appointed Tim Bevan as its senior commercial director with over two decades of financial services sector experience.

He will be responsible for scaling institutional relationships, managing capital markets partnerships, and aligning commercial goals with financial and regulatory technology.

Prior to the move, Bevan served as CEO of institutional digital asset lending platform Cor Prime.

He also spent six years with the London Stock Exchange, 10 at BCS Global Markets, and just over six with ETC Group, which he founded.

During his career, Bevan oversaw the launch of a centrally cleared exchange-traded Bitcoin security on a major European exchange.

ClearToken says that its new appointee “brings a depth of knowledge across both TradFi and digital markets, and long-standing relationships built over many years”.

Commenting on his new position, Bevan says: “By establishing the highest possible benchmark in central markets infrastructure, from a legal, regulatory, operational, and technical standpoint, ClearToken has the ambition to provide the foundations for the next stage of capital markets development globally.”
