BitGo, a digital asset infrastructure company, has introduced new digital asset security capabilities, intended to address the higher sophistication of attack vectors.

The firm says its improvements will provide protection earlier in the transaction lifecycle and across distinct layers, with support for independent validation.

Transactions must be cryptographically valid and contextually authorised prior to execution, with BitGo securing transactions across several layers, including intent, device, identity, behaviour, and policy.

BitGo says the intent layer has had real-time API attestations applied to it, with the device and identity layers receiving extended security to hardware-backed verification.

The firm has introduced real-time transaction threat detection to the behavioural layer, alongside an expansion of governance as a core component of its policy layer.

According to BitGo, each feature will operate alongside existing security infrastructure, committing to a holistic evaluation of transactions.
