OpenTrade chooses Markitanova

Anya Markitanova has been selected as vice president of sales and business development at OpenTrade.
Markitanova brings a background in business development and commercial strategy leadership with experience in blockchain and digital assets across topics including custody, liquidity provision, tokenisation, and real-world asset (RWA) distribution.
She previously held a Business Development role at Archax, where she focused on regulated custody and RWA-backed instruments.
Prior to that, Markitanova was heading business development at WyzePay, a wallet and payments infrastructure provider.
She was a senior exCo member for the London Business School Blockchain Society for nine months before this and a global digital trade compliance officer for EAME in Barcelona for almost four years beginning in 2017.
Markitanova says via LinkedIn: “Very happy to grow the RWA-backed yield market alongside Ronnie Jaworek, Jeff Handler, David Sutter and the rest of the team!
“Also very grateful for the learning opportunities and the mentorship on all things RWA from Nick Donovan!”
Markitanova holds an MBA from London Business School, and knowledge of the regulatory landscape from her experience in law and policy.
