Racheal Muldoon has joined Ogier, a Cayman Islands corporate offering with crypto and fintech, as a partner in London, subject to her being admitted as an attorney-at-law by the Grand Court of the Cayman Islands.

Muldoon has joined Ogier’s Corporate team, where she will advise on high-value, cross-border matters involving digital assets, fintech, Web3 and emerging technologies, with a particular focus on Cayman Islands structures used by technology companies, investment funds, founders and institutional investors operating internationally.

A senior barrister by background, the firm says Muldoon brings extensive experience advising governments, regulators, financial institutions and technology innovators on complex issues spanning AI, blockchain, digital assets and financial technology.

She is internationally recognised for her role in shaping legal precedent in the digital assets space, including securing the world’s first proprietary injunction relating to NFTs, and the first grant of permission by courts in England and Wales to serve legal proceedings via blockchain airdrop.

Nathan Powell, global head of corporate at Ogier, says: “Racheal’s appointment represents a significant enhancement of our Cayman corporate capability in London and reinforces Ogier’s position as a leading adviser to clients operating in technology driven and digitally native markets.

“Her market-defining experience in crypto, fintech and emerging technologies aligns closely with our clients’ needs as they navigate regulatory complexity and global expansion.”
