Axiology, a digital asset financial infrastructure platform, has appointed David Newns and Boris Battistini to its non-executive board.

Newns joins with over 25 years’ experience in institutional electronic trading and regulated financial market infrastructure, having previously served as CEO of SIX Digital Exchange and as a managing director at State Street.

Battistini previously worked as a director at private investment firm Metellus, bringing private markets investment and strategic knowledge to his new role on the Axiology board.

The firm says that the appointments will help “continue the company’s growth trajectory upwards for the second half of 2026”.

Regarding the new board members, Marius Jurgilas, CEO of Axiology, says: “David and Boris bring a level of experience that reinforces our ambition to build infrastructure that institutional markets can rely upon.

“These appointments mark an important step for Axiology, not just in terms of the individuals joining us, but in what their decision to join demonstrates where we are headed as a business.”
