Blockchain Ireland appoints Morgan Walsh

Blockchain Ireland has appointed Laura Morgan Walsh to its board of directors, having over two decades of experience in global payments, regulated financial entities, and emerging technologies.

She boasts extensive experience designing, building, and scaling fintech and technology platforms, spending approximately 13 years with PayPal, with time also spent at both Facebook and Monzo, before transitioning into her current role as the owner of Morgan Walsh Consulting.

Additionally, she is currently an independent non-executive director and chair of the audit committee at Kraken.

Morgan Walsh completed her bachelor's degree at University College Dublin before obtaining her master's from Dublin City University.
